Harry Bänninger and Sophie Wille, a passionate couple from Uetikon am See, had a dream: to launch their very own food truck. But like any great idea, they needed more than just tasty recipes – they needed a logo that would reflect their unique character. That’s where White Tiger Calligraphy came in. Our mission was to create a logo that perfectly captured the dynamic and creative energy of Harry and Sophie. It had to be a logo that not only looked great on their food truck but could seamlessly be applied across their entire branding – from Instagram to packaging design. In addition to the logo design, we arranged for the professional production and placement of vehicle stickers, ensuring the logo was prominently displayed on key areas of their truck. But we didn’t stop there! We also created branded chef aprons using transfer printing, giving their team a cohesive, professional look. Logo stickers for their homemade ice tea and various other products were also designed and produced by us. The result? A comprehensive, creative branding solution that reflects Harry and Sophie’s individuality while showcasing the versatility of calligraphy in the modern business world. I am thrilled to unveil our latest project for the 25hours Hotel Langstrasse, realized in collaboration with the innovative Zurich-based Blackout Collective. This unique marketing initiative for New Year’s Eve represents a significant milestone in my artistic journey. To kick things off, we engaged with the hotel’s guests to gather their heartfelt wishes for the new year. I transformed these aspirations into a huge 224 m² artwork, meticulously painted on a banner in the studio. It was essential for me to align this piece with the hotel’s corporate identity while infusing it with my signature style. Additionally, I helped find a producer for the banner and provided the marketing team with guidance and support to ensure the project’s successful realization. On New Year’s Eve, the banner was proudly displayed on the hotel façade and captured in a breathtaking drone video that has already amassed over 35,000 views on Instagram! This project not only showcases the versatility of calligraphy but also highlights my commitment to creating impactful art that resonates with audiences. I am incredibly grateful to everyone involved for their support and collaboration. For the Zurich-based creative agency Jim & Jim, I designed and executed a custom calligraphy artwork for their company vehicle, known as the “Firefighter.” Formerly a fire truck, the vehicle now accompanies the team to content productions for a wide range of clients. The entire artwork was created by hand using a weatherproof black calligraphy pen, ensuring durability and long-lasting visual impact. The color palette was intentionally kept minimal and elegant, combining black, white, and red to complement the vehicle’s character and the agency’s brand identity. A key element of the design is the seamless integration of the Jim & Jim logo into the calligraphic composition. The logo was applied using a stencil and weather-resistant spray paint, making it a bold and enduring part of the overall artwork. This project highlights the possibilities of vehicle-based calligraphy as a mobile branding solution, combining craftsmanship, precision, and visual storytelling. Solarchain, a Zurich-based leader in solar energy, commissioned White Tiger Calligraphy to create an artistic installation for their meeting room. The goal was to transform a functional solar panel into a visually engaging artwork that reflects the company’s values of sustainability, innovation, and clean energy. The project combined Solarchain’s logo with expressive calligraphic elements, carefully applied directly onto the solar panel. This approach allowed the object to retain its symbolic connection to renewable energy while gaining a new artistic dimension. The finished piece now serves as a central visual element within the conference room, energizing the space and encouraging dialogue around sustainability, technology, and creative thinking.
