Mike B. commissioned White Tiger Calligraphy to transform the walls of his studio in Zurich’s Kreis 4 into a distinctive artistic environment. The concept focused on merging anime-inspired imagery with expressive calligraphy, resulting in a unique visual narrative. An anime character was reinterpreted through a calligraphic approach, allowing lettering and form to merge into a single composition. The mural balances illustration and typography, creating a dynamic artwork that reflects both contemporary pop culture and handcrafted artistic expression. The finished studio space has become a place of creative inspiration, encouraging dialogue, experimentation, and new artistic perspectives. Sandro O. commissioned White Tiger Calligraphy to transform his downhill bike helmet into a custom calligraphy artwork. The project explored how expressive lettering can be applied to unconventional objects, combining art with functionality and sport. Each brushstroke was carefully executed to reflect the speed, movement, and intensity of downhill biking. The flowing calligraphy emphasizes motion and energy, turning the helmet into a dynamic visual statement. The finished piece functions both as protective equipment and as a moving artwork, expressing Sandro’s passion for the sport and his individual style. This project demonstrates the versatility of calligraphy and its ability to elevate everyday objects into meaningful artistic expressions, proving that creativity and passion can coexist in every aspect of life. White Tiger Calligraphy was commissioned with an exciting branding assignment for the new brand «Badmeister» from Switzerland. The young company produces work uniforms for lifeguards, as well as lifestyle products.This creative odyssey was no ordinary project; it was about creating a distinctive visual identity that harmoniously reflects the essence of «Badi culture». The iconic symbol of the cormorant, a vigilant guardian that embodies the spirit of the lifeguards, was chosen as the brand logo. The new brand logo and logotype decorates a range of workwear, including cozy fleece jackets, stylish hats and comfortable tank tops, all carefully designed for the lifeguards. But the creative journey didn't end there. White Tiger Calligraphy took on the challenge of also bringing life and style to «Badmeister's» lifestyle collection. Three different swimwear patterns were hand-drawn, all bearing White Tiger Calligraphy's distinctive style. These designs were then carefully digitalized and integrated into three vibrant, multi-colored backgrounds. Now the «Badmeister» brand is ready to serve not only as a reliable provider of lifeguard uniforms, but also as a flagship for lifestyle and leisure. Our project is a testament to the power of vision and the art of branding. White Tiger Calligraphy's expertise in branding and concept design transformed dreams into a living reality. In September 2019, Zurich-based photographer Yung Eye Studio approached White Tiger Calligraphy for a unique artistic collaboration involving bodypainting and calligraphy. The project centered around painting calligraphic elements directly onto a female model during a photoshoot. The concept combined handcrafted calligraphy on the human body with a carefully painted calligraphy background, creating a futuristic visual environment. This fusion of body art and lettering resulted in a striking series of images as well as an atmospheric short film. The project explores the relationship between movement, form, and typography, pushing the boundaries of how calligraphy can exist beyond traditional surfaces. The outcome is a visually captivating body of work that continues to inspire and challenge conventional approaches to artistic expression. This collaboration highlights the creative potential that emerges when photography, bodypainting, and calligraphy intersect — redefining the possibilities of interdisciplinary art projects.
